Hey there, I´m María, calligrapher & wedding stationer

Hi there, I’m María — calligrapher and wedding stationer behind The Spaniel Studio, now based in beautiful Pensacola, Florida.

I founded The Spaniel Studio in Madrid in 2019, inspired by my love for calligraphy and fine stationery. Shortly after, a move to New York City marked a true turning point, immersing me in the world of American weddings. Since then, I’ve had the joy of working with couples across the U.S., creating bespoke paper goods that capture their story with grace and intention.

Originally from Spain, I bring a distinctly European sensibility to my work, blending timeless design with refined craftsmanship to create wedding stationery that feels elegant, romantic, and deeply personal.

Alongside my work for couples, I collaborate with leading luxury houses, including Cartier, Montblanc, Carolina Herrera, Tiffany & Co., Brooks Brothers, and Prada, among others, crafting elevated calligraphy experiences and refined pieces for special events and brand activations.
