My calligraphy is my signature. Every piece is cohesive in style, from digitally refined calligraphy used across the suite to hand-calligraphed envelopes.

I personally manage every step of the process, from design and production to printing and assembly, ensuring the highest level of quality. We’ll have direct, personal communication.

THE INVITATIONS PROCESS

FROM START, TO FINISH – THE EXPERIENCE

Step 1: Let´s connect

Everything begins with your inquiry. You’ll fill out a detailed form sharing more about your wedding, your vision, and the paper goods you’re looking for. Based on this information, I’ll prepare a tailored proposal designed specifically around your celebration, needs, and aesthetic.

This first step allows me to fully understand your story and ensure that what we create together feels intentional from the very beginning.

Step 2: The Design Process

Once your project is approved, you’ll receive access to your private client portal. This will be your dedicated space, where all documentation, questionnaires, design proofs, and audiovisual files related to your wedding paper will live.

The process begins with the Wedding Questionnaire, where you’ll share every detail of your celebration and your exact preferences. From there, I design a fully personalized wedding invitation suite, thoughtfully crafted to reflect your story, your style, and the tone of your wedding day.

Step 3: The Production Process

After final approval of all designs, production begins. This is when everything comes to life: from printing and die cuts to envelope calligraphy and all the refined details that make your suite truly special.

Seeing the designs become tangible pieces is where the magic happens. What once lived on paper becomes something real, meaningful, and even more special than imagined.

Step 4: The Assembling Process

This is both the most exciting and most critical part of the process. Every piece comes together, carefully assembled with precision and intention, ensuring the suite feels harmonious, balanced, and beautifully finished.

This stage is where craftsmanship truly matters, as each invitation is prepared exactly as it should be received by your guests.

Step 5: Beautifully wrapped and delivered

The final moment arrives: receiving your invitations. Your completed suites will be delivered beautifully assembled in The Spaniel Studio’s signature box.

Along with your guest invitations, you’ll receive a keepsake box containing three full invitation suites just for you: two to treasure forever, and one to share with your photographer for styling and documentation.

Maria went ABOVE AND BEYOND creating both our invitation suite and day of stationary!! She is so creative and throughout the process was communicative, collaborative, kind and caring.

01. What is your Wedding Stationery Style ?

My style is rooted in timeless, classic, and sophisticated design, with a distinct European sensibility. I draw inspiration from traditional craftsmanship, refined typography, and an understated elegance that never feels excessive.

Rather than following trends, I focus on creating wedding paper that feels enduring and intentional: pieces that are meant to be kept, revisited, and cherished long after the wedding day.

02. Do you work with couples worldwide?

At this time, I work exclusively with couples based in the United States. I happily design wedding paper for both celebrations taking place within the U.S. and destination weddings abroad.

Working within this scope allows me to maintain the level of quality, attention to detail, and hands-on involvement that define my process and my work.

03. Do you travel to other cities and countries for weddings?

Yes, I do, and I truly love it. I’m happy to travel to your wedding location to contribute on-site with live calligraphy and bespoke paper details that elevate the celebration.

This may include calligraphy for large-scale pieces such as seating charts, mirrors, bars, or signage, as well as live guest experiences — from personalizing wedding favors to calligraphing candles, champagne glasses, leather tags, and other meaningful keepsakes. The possibilities are endless!

04. How far in advance should we book?

I recommend booking your wedding paper at least 6 to 8 months before your wedding date. This allows ample time for design, production, calligraphy, and assembly, while ensuring a thoughtful and unhurried creative process.

As I work with very limited availability, reaching out as early as possible is the best way to secure your place on my calendar. For destination weddings or fully custom projects, an earlier timeline is always encouraged.

05. How involved will we be during the design process?

The process is collaborative and guided. You’ll be involved at key moments, sharing preferences and feedback, while I take care of the creative direction, technical details, and execution.

This balance ensures the experience feels personal and enjoyable, without becoming overwhelming.

06. Do you offer semi-custom or fully custom invitation suites?

I offer both semi-custom and fully custom wedding invitation suites. Semi-custom collections are ideal for couples who love a refined, established aesthetic with a shorter timeline, while fully custom suites are designed entirely from scratch to reflect your story, vision, and wedding details in a truly personal way.

Fully custom invitation suites start at $3,500, with pricing varying based on design complexity, printing methods, and overall scope.
